"Mr. Mitchell here!" Our Friends have helped us prepare, get going and stay Bicyclin' America! We are honored to call them friends and howl out a huge THANKS!!! We hope you will read more about our friends. We also want to say thanks to our family. Dad, riding the ferries in the Puget Sound has to be easier than trying to swim between them! Friends of Mr. Mitchell and Doc Adopt A Husky I was so lucky to meet a bunch of rescued Siberian Huskies through Adopt A Husky volunteers. I also play with some foster Huskies whose foster families failed. (The dogs stayed in their foster home! ... Blueberry). I learned how to do Husky things like play king of the Hill, howl at the moon, leave cats alone, hang out around horses and much more with these special dogs associated with this great organization. Please remember that Huskies require special homes as do all doggies! Animal Pain Management Center This veterinary facility has an underwater treadmill - talk about some great resistance exercise! Thanks Dr. Gilbert! Indian Trail Animal Clinic Dr. Brown has known me since I was 8 months old. I just recently received a Leptospirosis vaccination' Hope I avoid that nasty disease but Leptospirosis may be more prevalent as we head East. Prevention and be prepared! Thanks Dr. Brown! North Division Bicycle Shop We purchased the touring bike here. They do a great bike fit, have all sorts of gear for all kinds of bicycling, do a great tune-up and best of all don't mind stupid bike questions. Check 'em out for all things bike! Cycletote We purchased my doggie cart from Cycletote in Colorado Springs. Cycletote supplied us with extra spokes and that special attachment piece that keeps my cart hooked up to the bicycle. "Snake" recently helped us make some adjustments to the cart's cool braking system to allow for our full pannier & rack setup. |
